Hex Nut DIN 934

Hex Nut DIN 934

A fastener with a threaded hole is called a Hex Nut. When connecting multiple parts, nuts are nearly always used in conjunction with a mating bolt. The two partners are held together by a mixture of friction in their threads (with mild elastic deformation), a slight stretching of the bolt, and compression of the parts being held together.
